Sally Canzoneri

Sally Canzoneri is a photographer, book artist, and writer. Her artist?s books and photographs have been shown in numerous juried exhibitions. In 2015, Canzoneri had solo exhibitions in DC at New Community ArtSpace and the Hill Center Galleries.

Her articles for adults and children have been published in a variety of magazines, and two of her picture books were published as e-books. She has taught creative writing and arts for both children and adults. In 2012 and 2015, the DC Commission on Arts & Humanities selected her to receive an arts education grant.

Canzoneri has been a city planner and a litigating attorney. She received a B.A. from Bennington College (1971), and a M.U.P. (1976) and J.D. (1979) from the University of Illinois. She lives in Washington, DC with her husband, daughter, and the cutest three-legged dog in the Western Hemisphere.
