Cutting and Cocktails

WPA and artist Amber Robles-Gordon in the making of her work which was part of WPA’s South Capitol Skyscape, a public art project that featured her finished work on a 50 foot tall banner on the side of the Capitol Skyline Hotel.
As part of the process of the banner’s creation Amber needed assistance with cutting the donated fabric and materials that will be tied to the base of her sculpture. Once completed, this sculpture was photographed and printed on a 16′ x 50′ banner for the east facade of the Capitol Skyline Hotel.
